You found us! We are Nancy and Harold Rhee, the hosts of Pawprint, an animal rescue podcast. We’ve been married 20 years, have fostered over 60 dogs, and we love the amazing people who dedicate their lives. And of course, the dogs, cats, and other animals! We have three dogs of our own – Nacho, Lego, and Evie.

The goal for Pawprint is simple – get inspired and do something. If you’re interested in helping animals, yourself, and your community, Pawprint is here to help! We hope you enjoy our podcast. After that, get inspired. Thanks!

Melanie Gilbert is co-founder of Street Mutts, and in today's episode she discusses how she and co-founder Melissa Palomo met, how they formed their mission, and how they hope Street Mutts can make a difference for street animals around the world.

NicaVets and RVETS are the two organizations that Street Mutts has partnered with. They both focus much of their work in Nicaragua and focus on helping dogs, cats, horses, and other animals. NicaVets has a greater focus on spay/neuter while RVETS focus is on working animals.

Melanie's first dog was Sobaka, it's Ukrainian for dog. Her second dog was Ebony.


Soi Dog Thailand - Melissa and Melanie’s first project was with Soi Dog. Although it didn't result in a partnership, it helped them take the next step in Street Mutt's journey. Soi Dog saves many dogs from the dog meat trade.


Rabies is most prevalent in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, although it can still be found around the world.


All of Pawprint's music is composed by Luke Gartner-Brereton. Luke is a musician based in Australia, and he composes a wide variety of songs and musical loops
