Pawprint | animal rescue podcast for dog, cat, and other animal lovers

You found us! We are Nancy and Harold Rhee, the hosts of Pawprint, an animal rescue podcast. We’ve been married 20 years, have fostered over 60 dogs, and we love the amazing people who dedicate their lives. And of course, the dogs, cats, and other animals! We have three dogs of our own – Nacho, Lego, and Evie.

The goal for Pawprint is simple – get inspired and do something. If you’re interested in helping animals, yourself, and your community, Pawprint is here to help! We hope you enjoy our podcast. After that, get inspired. Thanks!

Sincerely, Nancy and Harold – Pawprint

Karen Golden lives in the Dallas, Texas area with her husband Richard and today she shares three stories - Walker, her first dog, along with Trivette, and Sierra, who amazingly survived the distemper virus when they adopted him five years ago.

We quote Karen Golden’s words as the title of today’s episode. You Know Your Dog. You will hear why during our interview.

If you want to learn more about Karen Golden and see some beautiful photos of Walker, Trivette, and Sierra, go to our show notes at http://thisispawprint.com/59.

Dr. Richard Golden is Professor of Cognitive Science and Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas. He also hosts the podcast, “Learning Machines 101.”

Walker was not named after Chuck Norris's title character, Cordell Walker, in the television series, “Walker, Texas Ranger.” Ironically, Trivette was named after Walker’s partner, James Trivette, from the same show.
